You may have read the post for the strawberry milkshake cheesecake recipe. Well, the idea of baking things strawberry milkshake flavored did not end with that cheesecake. Still hasn’t either.
You may be thinking that this fudge doesn’t really look strawberry milkshake flavored and you’re right, it doesn’t. And it isn’t. Although that would have been fun to do, I got lazy. You will come to learn that I am a very lazy person. Well, lazy only on my free time, in case any future employers are reading..
So originally, I wanted to make strawberry milkshake flavored fudge but when I remembered what a hassle it was to powder the freeze-dried strawberries, I decided that making strawberry and white chocolate fudge was enough fun this time.
Although this recipe (and the pictures a little bit as well I guess) may look pretty summer-y, which they are, I think it’s still okay to treat ourselves with treats that remind us of the warm summer in the middle of this dark autumn.
Strawberries and White Chocolate Fudge with Marshmallows
Servings: aprx. 40 pieces
Ingredients:
1 ½ dl condensed milk
200g. white chocolate
10g. freeze dried strawberry chips
2 dl marshmallow halves
1. Place a parchment paper in a 1l. bread tray.
2. Melt the white chocolate in a heavy bottomed pot with the white chocolate over medium heat.
3. Take off the heat once the chocolate and condensed milk is well combined. Mix in the freeze dried strawberries and marshmallows.
4. Pour fudge mixture into the bread tray and place in the fridge to chill overnight.
